For the Alchemists of bygone times, Prima Materia is the name given to the foundational elements of life and the starting point for the alchemical transformation. For us it is not only about taking the time to pay tribute to and acknowledge some of the influences that came to shape a part of our band but it is also a celebration of friendship and camaraderie. This EP came to life as a way of looking for and exploring common ground between us and Isabel Martinez. It started by the sharing of songs and stories, by a drive to expand, co-create and build a community of like minded artists and friends who wanted to come together despite physical distance, barriers and borders.
