In the naming of this EP, we took inspiration from the historical practice and philosophy of alchemy. Alchemists, in their quest to transform base metals into gold, divided the process into four stages, each with deep symbolic meaning. 
Rubedo, the final stage, represents "the reddening"—a powerful metaphor for the awakening of one’s truest self.

When we formed our band, all three of us felt a profound call for personal transformation. We resonate with the alchemists' symbolic journey, as we too are striving to embrace our true selves by following our hearts and creating music that speaks to our inner truth. 
This EP embodies the path we’ve traveled, reflecting the transformation we’ve experienced and the essence of who we aspire to become. 
It narrates the story of one person and every person; the story of the collective through the lens of the individual. It’s a tale of hardship, struggle, and darkness, but also a beacon of hope—a ray of light we want to share with everyone around us!
